Architecture Inspired by Nature

CDA National’s architectural style draws from the Pacific Northwest vernacular and can be described as mountain modern. The style will include traditional exterior materials such as wood and stone and accented by the incorporation of other materials such as structural steel, glass, metal and cementitious siding for a more modern aesthetic. The orchestration of these materials is provided by the Design Guidelines and approved by the Design Committee. Regardless of the style, expansive windows and passageways offering panoramic views and natural light will be encouraged, as the views and weather of the Idaho Panhandle lend themselves to the concept of blending the interior and outdoor spaces.
